About us

Who we are

Sankofa Pan-African Honours is a Ghana-based leadership, heritage and legacy platform that recognises individuals and institutions whose contributions strengthen communities, advance national development and inspire African progress. Organised by Sankofa Prestige Concepts, our work connects public recognition with reflection, responsibility and enduring contribution.

We bring together traditional leadership, public service, enterprise, Christian ministry, education, professional excellence, philanthropy, arts and community development. At the heart of our work is a simple conviction: meaningful service deserves to be recognised, recorded and passed on as an example.

The meaning of Sankofa

Sankofa. Go back and fetch it.

Sankofa expresses the wisdom of returning to retrieve what is valuable from the past in order to move forward. It reminds us that progress gains depth when it is rooted in identity, wisdom and memory. We honour what has been built while encouraging each generation to take responsibility for what comes next.

Our mission

To honour meaningful service, preserve African heritage and enduring legacies, and inspire principled leadership and responsible nation building through recognition, dialogue, publishing and leadership development.

Our vision

An Africa where exemplary service is recognised, heritage informs progress, and every generation helps build stronger communities and enduring institutions.

Our values

  • Integrity in representation
  • Service to the common good
  • Respect for heritage
  • Excellence in delivery
